to some the sight of a dandelion
means there is work to be done
a lawn to mow, weeds to pull
but to me
i see a poor misunderstood flower
who has never truly fit in
no hidden agenda
except to be bright and vibrant
inviting us to tumble in the grass
and laugh with the sun
